Intracom Telecom Introduces Innovative Millimetre-Wave Product Portfolio
Athens, Greece - 24 February 2015 - Intracom Telecom, a global telecommunications system vendor, announced today the introduction of its new Millimetre-Wave (mmWave), fully outdoor Ethernet radios, StreetNode™ V60-PTP and Ultralink™-FX80, operating in the 60 GHz and 70/80 GHz bands respectively. The company will be demonstrating its uniquely featured products at its stand number 6I40, in hall 6, at Mobile World Congress, 2-5 March 2015, in Barcelona.
These products ideally address applications ranging from Small-Cell Backhaul to Macrocell Backhaul and Fronthaul. Operators can take advantage of the compact size, multiple interfaces and flexible powering capabilities (direct AC or DC and PoE) of these radios for deployment in complex topologies even in street level locations.
The Ultralink™-FX80 is a fully-outdoor, compact size unit incorporating an embedded flat panel antenna, offering ultra-high capacity (up to 3 Gbps Full Duplex) and operating in the entire E-Band spectrum (71-76 / 81-86 GHz). Ultralink™-FX80 is flexibly deployed on lamp posts or walls, as well as, on rooftops and telecommunication towers. The interface variety offered by the unit allows operational flexibility both for wireless fronthaul application in CPRI mode, as well as, backhaul application - through its three GbE interfaces - in Ethernet Bridging mode.
The StreetNode™ V60-PTP is an innovative all-outdoor radio that incorporates an Auto-Aligning integrated antenna which operates in the V-Band (60 GHz). It can achieve throughputs of up to 1.7Gbit/s Fulll Duplex satisfying even the most demanding 4G backhaul requirements. Its small size and flexible powering options ideally support street-level installations. The system's 'Zero-Touch' provisioning via a Bluetooth-connected Android Tablet, allows for a faster, cost effective and error-free link deployment.
