BTC Broadband Announces MPEG-4 HD TV Commercial Availability

Athens, August 29, 2007 BTC Broadband of Bixby, Oklahoma is pleased to announce commercial availability of BTC TV, a premier TV service that includes over 150 Standard and High Definition TV channels and seamless Video on Demand.

To ensure that BTC Broadband's customers receive the best quality programming, BTC TV is using MPEG-4, the latest IPTV video delivery technology together with INTRACOM TELECOM's award-winning fs|cdn™ IPTV middleware and encryption solution. In addition to broadcast network TV and Video on Demand, BTC TV will be offering a wide range of interactive services including Caller ID, chat and digital video recording (DVR) , as well as standard services such as emergency alert, selectable menu language, secondary audio programming (SAP), program reminders, channel auto-tune, parental controls and favourite channels. The solution has been delivered through INTRACOM TELECOM US-based subsidiary, Conklin-INTRACOM.
