INTRACOM TELECOM implements TIM's RingBackTones integrated solution

F ollowing a tender released by TIM HELLAS, INTRACOM TELECOM undertook the implementation and delivery of an enhanced RingBackTones integrated solution, including all user interfaces (WEB/WAP/SMS/IVR). The project has a total value of €600,000 approximately.

TIM HELLAS has a significant customer base in Greek GSM, GPRS and 3G markets. The company partnered with INTRACOM TELECOM being one of the main integrators with a proven track record of successful cooperation with TIM HELLAS for almost 10 years in the areas of Network Management Systems and Integrated Contact Center Solutions. The basic RBT service was already available by TIM Hellas since 2005.

The aim of the project is to supply an enhanced solution for a RingBackTones application with extended functionalities, re-using part of existing TIM's network infrastructure. This service enables TIM subscribers to select and set via a number of different user interfaces music that will be heard as a ring tone by the people who call them. INTRACOM TELECOM designed the solution in a way that enables migration from the existing environment to the new RingackTones application transparently for subscribers, without service disturbance.

INTRACOM TELECOM has developed and implemented a large portfolio of both IN and Next Generation Services for fixed, mobile and VoIP networks, which can be easily customized according to any operator's business needs and market requirements.
