INTRACOM TELECOM:
The only Greek company that participated in 3GMS World Congress The company presented advanced wireless network solutions for the international markets

INTRACOM TELECOM was the only Greek company that participated in 3GSM World Congress that took place in Barcelona from 13-16 February. It is also worth mentioning that this is the first Greek participation in 3GSM history. Exhibitors were multinational leaders such as Nokia, Motorola, Ericsson and Intel, while 50.000 professionals from all over the world have attended the Congress.

In INTRACOM TELECOM booth exhibits were point-to-multipoint and point-to-point wireless network infrastructure solutions. The proposed solutions also included network deployment applications based on WiMAX technology.

Specifically, WiBAS is a product family of broadband wireless systems, all based on IEEE 802.16 technology. WiBAS-Max, an 802.16-2004 compliant system, soon to become certified by the WiMAX Forum, that can provide triple-play services to thousands of users for communicating, working or entertaining. It also includes WiBAS-Pro, a supreme multi-service broadband wireless system, able to backhaul any access network (WiMAX, 3G, 2G, xDSL etc) with a very long range and unrivaled performance. Finally, WiBAS-2X represents industry's first 802.16-based system at 26/28GHz, achieving more than 130Mbps traffic capacity per single radio channel, more than any other point-to-multipoint system available can offer today. The new release of INTRALINK family, used in networks based on point-to-point topology, was also presented. The new release accommodates a number of new features adding more flexibility and efficiency on network building process.

The availability of a full portfolio of products and alternative proposals in the field of wireless networks enables INTRACOM TELECOM, in any case, to offer to its clients the best and most reliable solution that can satisfy their telecommunication networks needs in the most efficient way.
