INTRACOM undertakes the Intelligent Network Services Project at TELEFONIA DIALOG, Poland

Following an International Tender released by Telefonia Dialog, one of the largest fixed alternative telecommunications operator in Poland, Intracom was awarded the contract for provisioning, implementing and supporting the Intelligent Network (IN) Services Solution.

The contract, worth €2.16 million, includes the supply of a services platform consisting of a Service Control Point, a Service Management Point, a Service Creation Environment, as well as the supply of a Service Switching Point with integrated Intelligent Peripheral and Specialized Resource Function (IPSRF). Within the framework of the awarded project, INTRACOM will provide Telefonia Dialog with the required telecom equipment and software as well as related implementation, operation, maintenance and training professional services. The contract has a three-year validity period, with the option to be extended up to six years.

The offered services platform is based on Hewlett-Packard's OpenCall solution. HP OpenCall, is a suite of products comprised of comprehensive development and value added services delivery platforms for Telecommunication Operators. OpenCall is currently the best selling services platform, with more than 3,600 implementations in 100 countries, globally. Telefonia Dialog's Service Switching Point will be implemented by a Next Generation SoftSwitch, which will cover the requirements for a smooth migration from the conventional (PSTN) network to the converged broadband/ telephony services network.

INTRACOM has developed and implemented a large portfolio of Intelligent Network and Next Generation Services for fixed, mobile and VoIP networks, which can be easily customized according to any operator's business needs and market requirements. Through its Intelligent Network, Telefonia Dialog will be the first fixed alternative telecommunications operator in Poland to provide its customers with a wide range of advanced Value Added Services.
