Deputy Undersecretary of the United States Ministry of Defense, Mrs. Suzanne Patrick, visits INTRACOM premises

The Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Industrial Policy of the United States Ministry of Defense, Mrs. Suzanne D. Patrick, paid a formal visit at INTRACOM facilities in Peania.

The delegation escorting Mrs. Patrick comprised of Colonel Robert Hendricks, Director of the Office of Defense Cooperation - Greece, Mr. Christopher Gregor, Assistant to the Deputy Undersecretary, Commander Miaris, Staff Officer of the Hellenic Ministry of Defense Industry Directorate and Mrs. Eyfrosinidou, International and Public Relations Directorate of the Hellenic Ministry of Defense.

INTRACOM Group Chairman, Mr. Socrates Kokkalis, welcomed the Deputy Undersecretary and the delegation. During the visit, INTRACOM CEO, Mr. George Deligiannis, presented INTRACOM's activities, while Dr. George Troullinos, Executive Director Defense Systems, presented the activities of the Defense Sector. In particular, the Deputy Undersecretary was informed about INTRACOM's activities, products and services and discussed prospects concerning the establishment of new alliances with US companies. A tour of the Defense Sector facilities was afterwards conducted for the delegation.

Mrs. Patrick was impressed by INTRACOM's modern facilities, the company's significant research activities as well as its international co-operations with leading companies. INTRACOM's Defense Sector is one of the largest defense electronic systems and applications development and production unit in Greece as well the broader region.
