INTRACOM TELECOM renames its subsidiary in Albania

Athens, 17 September 2009 - INTRACOM TELECOM, a part of Sitronics, announced today the renaming of its subsidiary in Albania from INTRALBAN to INTRACOM TELECOM Albania S.A., effective 9 September 2009.

The scope of this rebranding is to fully align INTRALBAN's corporate reputation with INTRACOM TELECOM's well established brand equity built throughout the years, thus boosting its sales in the Albanian telecom market.

Specifically, INTRACOM TELECOM Albania, in cooperation with its parent company, is focused on supplying the local market with the Group's most recognised and widely deployed product lines, the point-to-point microwave links (INTRALINK), and the point-to-multipoint wireless systems (WiBAS). INTRACOM TELECOM Albania will also marketplace the recently launched next generation Ethernet backhauling solution (OmniBAS), and its wireless broadband access WiMAX solution (OmniMax).

The company is also planning to promote the award-winning fs|cdn™ IPTV platform in operator networks ensuring that broadband customers receive the best quality programming, using the latest IPTV video delivery technology. INTRACOM TELECOM Albania, along with its current offerings such as VAS, Call Centers,

Data Networks and technical support, will market its NGIN service platform with intelligent real-time charging & applications.

Former INTRALBAN, now INTRACOM TELECOM Albania, was founded in 2001. The company is located in the center of Tirana and employs 35 highly-skilled professionals.
