About Santa Rose Telephone Cooperative

Santa Rosa Telephone Coop was founded in 1951. In 1952 with the help of a loan from the Rural Electrification Administration the first lines and equipment for the counties of Wilbarger, Hardeman, Foard and Clay were installed. Before this construction was completed, people in Cotton and Jackson counties of Oklahoma were requesting telephone service. Eventually, the counties of Childress, Knox and Baylor received this needed service also. Today, telephone, High Speed Internet and IPTV services are available and affordable in most of the cooperative's service area that continues to grow. Santa Rosa Telephone Cooperative provides service to approximately 8000 customers.
