Technical Description

OmniBAS™-XR, an all-outdoor IP MW solution, is integral part of the OmniBAS™ product family, having the following main technical characteristics:

  • Comprehensive all-outdoor IP MW portfolio supporting frequencies from 7 GHz to 38 GHz.
  • Outstanding radio performance for high availability and extended ranges:
    • 123.5 dB system gain for 4-QAM and 7 MHz channel @ 7 GHz.
    • 78.5 dB system gain for 256-QAM and 56 MHz channel @ 38 GHz.
  • Software-defined channel size from 3.5 MHz to 56 MHz.
  • Hitless ACM from 4-QAM to 256-QAM.
  • Flexible configurations:
    • 1+0 / 2+0, with or without Radio Link Aggregation (RLA).
    • 1+1 HSB (no IDU needed).
Interfaces
  • 1 x GbE electrical (RJ45) for traffic, inband management and PonE (Power on Ethernet).
