OmniBAS™-XR, the eXternal Radio addition to the OmniBAS™ packet MW PtP family of products, addresses the operator need for cost-effective, all-outdoor IP transmission solutions.
As an integral part of the OmniBAS™ MW portfolio, OmniBAS™-XR provides market-leading radio performance, excessive IP capacity and advanced traffic handling and control functionality.
Compatible with split-mount OmniBAS™ IDU - ODU links and managed by the same powerful uni|MS™ system, OmniBAS™-XR offers unique deployment flexibility for a wide variety of applications.

Technical Description
OmniBAS™-XR, an all-outdoor IP MW solution, is integral part of the OmniBAS™ product family, having the following main technical characteristics:
- Comprehensive all-outdoor IP MW portfolio supporting frequencies from 7 GHz to 38 GHz.
- Outstanding radio performance for high availability and extended ranges:
- 123.5 dB system gain for 4-QAM and 7 MHz channel @ 7 GHz.
- 78.5 dB system gain for 256-QAM and 56 MHz channel @ 38 GHz.
- Software-defined channel size from 3.5 MHz to 56 MHz.
- Hitless ACM from 4-QAM to 256-QAM.
- Flexible configurations:
- 1+0 / 2+0, with or without Radio Link Aggregation (RLA).
- 1+1 HSB (no IDU needed).
